🏖 Getting Started

How do I sign up?
Easiest way: call or text us at 843-225-0166, or just stop in next time you're dropping off. Takes about 5 minutes — we grab your billing info, your preferences (detergent, hot/cold, etc.), and hand you your bags. Done.
When does my plan start?
Day you sign up. We'll prorate your first month if it's mid-cycle so you're not paying for days you didn't get.
Do I have to commit to a contract?
Nope. Month-to-month, cancel anytime. No early-termination fees, no salty fine print.

🎒 The Bag System

Why 25 lb bags?
It keeps things stupid-simple. No weighing, no math, no "am I over my plan?" stress. One bag = one drop = one flat price. Easy for you, easy for us.
What if my bag is under 25 lbs?
No worries — still counts as one bag. Most folks end up filling their bag pretty close to capacity, but you're not penalized for a lighter load. Pro tip: stuff that bag like you mean it.
What if my bag is over 25 lbs?
We'll weigh it at drop-off. Anything over 25 lbs gets billed at your subscriber rate ($1.58 / $1.49 / $1.40 per lb depending on plan) — no penalty, just fair per-pound. Or you can split it into two bags if it's a big one.
Do I get the bags, or bring my own?
We give you Sudsy Seagull bags when you sign up (number depends on your plan). They're reusable, clearly labeled with your name, and we track them when you drop off. Love your own bag? That works too — just let us know.
What happens to unused bags?
Unused bags roll over for 7 days into the next week. They reset at month end so we don't drown in rollover, but you've got buffer if you miss a week.

🌊 How It Works

What's the turnaround time?
Next-day (24hr) is included with every subscription. Need it faster? Same-day (6hr) is +$5/bag and Express (4hr) is +$15/bag — subscriber rates, cheaper than walk-in. We'll text you the second it's done.
How do speed upgrades work?
Pick your speed per bag at drop-off. Some weeks you need it fast (hello, surprise houseguests), other weeks next-day is fine. Tell us when you drop — we bill it to your card on file.
Do you do pickup and delivery?
Not yet — we're drop-off only for now. We're keeping prices low by skipping the delivery van. We're open 7 AM to 10 PM every day, so finding a window is easy.
What detergent do you use?
Standard fragrance-free commercial detergent. Free swaps to hypoallergenic, scent-free, or your own detergent if you bring it — just tell us at sign-up.
Bedding, towels, beach gear — yes or no?
Yes on towels and bedding (stuff 'em in the bag). Sandy beach gear is fine — give it a shake before bagging. We can't do shoes, leather, suede, or anything dry-clean only.

💰 Pricing & Billing

How much do I really save?
Walk-in is $1.75/lb. Subscriptions knock roughly 10% off Tide Rider, 15% off Beach Day, and 20% off Big Kahuna — dropping your effective rate to $1.58/lb, $1.49/lb, and $1.40/lb respectively. That's $8.50–$70 a month back in your pocket — plus discounted same-day and express rates if you ever need a rush.
When do I get charged?
Same day each month — usually whichever day of the month you signed up. Card on file, auto-charged. We'll email a receipt every time.
What if I don't use all my bags?
Unused bags roll 7 days into the next week within your monthly cycle. So if you're on Beach Day (4 bags/mo) and only use 3 one week, that extra bag stays available. Bags reset at month end.
What if I need more bags in a month?
Extra bags past your plan are charged at your subscriber per-pound rate — same discount, no penalty. If you're going over consistently, we'll suggest bumping up a tier so you save more.
Can I switch tiers?
Yep. Upgrade anytime — change kicks in next billing cycle (or immediately if you ask). Downgrades take effect next cycle so we don't accidentally short you on bags.
How do I pause or cancel?
Call, text, or email — give us a heads-up before your next billing date and we'll pause or cancel, no questions, no fees. Going on vacation? We'll pause for up to 60 days.

🐚 The Fine Print

What if something gets damaged?
We treat your stuff like our own. In the rare case something goes sideways, we'll work it out fairly — typically up to 10x the wash cost of the item, per industry standard. Tag delicates at drop-off so we can hand-handle them.
What if I leave something in a pocket?
We pull out anything we find and set it aside. Cash, keys, AirPods, the occasional sand dollar — it's yours, we'll bag it separately. Empty your pockets when you can but we've got your back.
Can I share my plan with a friend or roommate?
Yep — list them on your account at sign-up and they can drop off your bags too. Same plan, same bag count, no extra fee.
Where do I pick my stuff up?
Same shop you dropped it. Just show your name or order ticket — we keep finished bags on our pickup wall organized by day.
